Welcome to the Basingstoke Town Bowling Club Website

Basingstoke Town Bowling Club has approximately 90 members, including social and life members.  We offer a warm welcome to bowlers of all ages and abilities. If you have never played before and are thinking of taking up the game, come along for a trial session. We have fully trained coaches who will help you every step of the way. If you are an experienced bowler and want to play competitive league games or just want to play for fun and exercise, the choice is yours. Everyone is welcome and our green and buildings are accessible to all, including wheelchair users.

Friendly mixed matches take place against other clubs in the North Hampshire area most weekends throughout the summer. We compete in local leagues including Basingstoke and District Bowling Association, Whitchurch League, Ladies League and the Stan Hardman League. Members also participate in National, County and local competitions.

The green is situated opposite Fairfields Primary School and between Basingstoke & North Hants Cricket Club and Waverley Tennis Club  in what was originally called Fairfields Recreation Park. The entrance is via the double wrought iron gates, which we share with Waverley Tennis Club. Parking is available in the zoned areas in Fairfields Road, Council Road and Jubilee Road. Additional parking can be found in the Carnival Hall car park but by prior arrangement with the Basingstoke Town Bowling Club
