Club Competitions are open to all Full Members and Life Members of Basingstoke Town Bowling Club.

All games will be played in accordance with the Bowls England Rules and the correct spirit of the game.

The challenger shall be the first name drawn.

Play by dates are to be adhered to unless a mutual date is agreed with all bowlers and the Competition Secretary.

A minimum of three dates must be provided by the challenger and should include at least one weekend date. These three dates must be provided within 7 days of the play by date for the previous round.

For singles games, the challenger must also be responsible for organising a marker.

Once the draw has been made, substitutions will only be permitted due to long term illness. If a substitute is permitted then the substitute becomes the permanent player.
Substitutions are NOT allowed in the Drawn Pairs competition under any circumstances. Fees will only be refunded should a Drawn Pairs player become unavailable before the draw is made.
Score cards must be returned to the Competition Secretary as soon as possible after completion of the game.
